Tickets will go on sale in June for
The Addams Family

Book by Marshall Brickman and Rick Elice
Music and lyrics by Andrew Lippa
Based upon the Addams Family characters created by Charles Addams

August 11, 12, 17, 18, 19, 20, 25 & 26, 2023
Robert Z. Hawkins Amphitheater, Bartley Ranch, Reno
All shows at 7:30 pm

Join us for a hilarious  night of entertainment as we spend an evening with the Addams family,  that ghoulish American family with an affinity for all things macabre. This raucous musical comedy embraces the wackiness in every family as we observe what happens when a father learns that his daughter, our favorite princess of darkness, Wednesday Addams, has  grown up and fallen in love with a smart, young man from a respectable family.  Everything will change for the whole family on the fateful night Gomez and Morticia host a dinner for Wednesday's "normal" boyfriend and  his parents. What ensues is nothing short of a comic feast.
Please read through the information below, then tap or click on the ticket icon at the bottom of the page to purchase your tickets.

Gates open at 6:45 pm
Show starts at 7:30 pm

All online ticket sales end at 3:30 pm the day of the performance. Unsold seats will be available for purchase at the Amphitheater box office before the show up until 7:20pm, but we cannot guarantee availability; we do sell out, so reserve in advance!

Duration: This performance is approximately 2 hours,  with one 15-minute intermission.
Latecomers may be held at the gate before being able to enter, while the actors use the isles and side entrances to start the show.
How to get tickets: Clicking on the little ticket icon below will take you to our new ticketing platform through Reno Little Theater tickets, where you will see an active seating chart and be able to choose your seats, then pay by credit card or other method of payment. (Please note: select "Choose my own seats" by selecting that button. If you do not select that, the seats will be suggested for you in the section you select.   It is much easier to choose your seats if you are using a non-mobile device.)  If you are planning on buying or picking up tickets at the box office, we recommend you arrive early. We don’t want you to miss a minute of the show! If you forget to bring your ticket, or can't find it on your phone, don't worry! We've got you covered! Just visit us in the box office and show your photo ID. We have a master list of all ticket holders.

COVID-19 and smoke

The health and safety of our patrons, artists, staff, and volunteers is our top priority. Current guidelines do not require masks for outdoor events such as our performances at the Hawkins Amphitheater.

We closely monitor the impact of smoke from regional wild/forest fires on the air quality near Bartley Ranch via a designated, Air Quality Index (AQI) PurpleAir sensor and other similar sensors throughout our region. In addition to monitoring real time measurements, we also track AQI trends over time. If AQI levels consistently trend to reach hazardous levels, we will begin to explore a performance cancellation. If a performance cancellation is necessary, we will communicate with potential patrons via social media in the late afternoon of a performance day - as late as 6:00 PM.

Tickets and Sales Policies/Details:

Refunds: All sales are final and non-refundable. However, if a show is cancelled due to weather or unforeseen circumstances, tickets may be exchanged for an alternate performance date or refunded through our ticket service. In the event of wildfire smoke, our experience has been that the smoke is often worse during the day, but the evenings usually clear, especially at Bartley Ranch park.  We hesitate to cancel early - we wait to the last minute, as late as 6pm if it looks like it's clearing! Watch our Facebook page for wildfire cancellation updates. You always have the option of purchasing your tickets at the box office on the day of the show.  We reserve the right to have a 30-minute rain or smoke delay for any performance before continuing the show. Exchanges are subject to availability and restrictions may apply.

Children and lap sitters: As a courtesy to everyone in our audience, we ask that you keep children seated and out of the aisles during the performance. Children 2 years of age and younger may sit on an adult's lap in a regular reserved seat (not premium or VIP) without having to purchase a ticket.
